Risk Watch is a professionally designed curriculum of safety lessons which was co-developed by the Lowe's Home Safety Council and the National Fire Protection Association. It includes modules covering Motor Vehicle Safety, Fire and Burn Prevention, Choking, Suffocation, and Strangulation Prevention, Poisoning Prevention, Trip and Fall Prevention, Firearms Injuries Prevention, Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety, and Water Safety. Risk Watch was written at five different age-appropriate levels for professional educators to use in the classroom.
A bonus to local school teachers is that the Risk Watch curriculum has been
professionally correlated to your School District's required benchmarks so that the lessons may be 'plugged right in' as a part of the daily curriculum. Continuous fund-raising efforts by the Association mean that this safety curriculum and training is available to any school teacher
free of charge upon request by the school's administrator!
