One of our first northern Nevada Association
members, Jennifer has become a major asset to the
organization by heading up the Youth Firesetter
Intervention Program in Region II. Jennifer also
represents the Association on the State of Nevada
Injury Prevention Task Force.
An eleven (11) year veteran of the Fire Service,
Jennifer has held the position of volunteer
firefighter, a seasonal firefighter, fire
investigator, and is currently employed as a Fire
Inspector with the City of Reno Fire Department.
Jennifer holds an Associate of Applied Science
Degree in Fire Science Technology from Truckee
Meadows Community College, is a NFPA 1031 Certified
Fire Inspector Level I & II, International Fire Code
Institute Fire Inspector I & II, certified Fire
Inspector from the State of Nevada Fire Marshals
Office, Fire Service Instructor I & II and a Youth
Firesetter Intervention Specialist I & II.
A dedicated fire service professional, Jennifer has
been awarded Employee of the Quarter from the City
of Reno and received an Innovation Award from the
Reno City Council for her work establishing the
Youth Firesetter Intervention Program in Washoe
County, FPAN Region II. |
