Fairly new to the fire service with just 3 1/2 years as a Certified Fire Prevention Inspector II with the City of Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, Rick is in his first term as Association Treasurer.
Through hard work and dedication to the job, in a very short time, Rick has achieved International Code Council Fire Inspector II certification, National Fire Protection Association 1035 Fire Inspector II certification, Uniform Fire Code certification and Nevada State Fire Marshal Fire Inspector I certification. Rick is also a member of the National Fire Sprinkler Association, International Code Council, Uniform Fire Code Association and the National Fire Protection Association.
In 2003, Rick received his Bachelor's Degree in Financial Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Rick's educational background will be a major asset the Association and the position of Treasurer.
Rick is extremely committed the mission and purpose of the Association, working with the Risk Watch Program and serving on the Golf Tournament Committee. His goal is to accurately maintain and report the financial status of the Association and to assist the Executive Board in achieving the statewide goals of the Association.
