Fred Wechselberger - FPAN Chapter Secretary

Fred Wechselberger has been a Communication Specialist (Dispatcher) with Las Vegas Fire & Rescue for just over 5 years and is awaiting for his turn to become an inspector. He has 5 more years dispatch experience between AMR Ambulance, Medicwest Ambulance and Mercy Ambulance. Prior to dispatching, he owned his own successful pager business for 10 years back when pagers were a hot item.

Fred is in school at CSN and is 2 classes from completing his Fire Science Associate's Degree which he expects to complete over the summer. He is following that up with a Criminal Justice degree which he anticipates finishing in Spring 2010.

Fred is in the process of starting up a charity which replaces toys for children who lose them at Christmas time due to a devastating fire.
