This checklist is used as a guide during your fireworks booth inspection |
|
|
|
|
|
Booth Location:
-
Located at address listed on Permit
-
Appropriate distance from hazards
|
 |
|
|
Booth Size:
-
Not to exceed 16'0" Length x 8'0" Width
-
Exception: Prior AHJ Approval
|
 |
|
|
Booth Construction:
-
Siding/Roof - 1/4" or thicker plywood/non-combustible material
-
Must be structurally sound
|
 |
|
|
Booth Exits / Aisles:
-
Minimum of two 6'0" high by 2'0" wide, with a minimum 29" clear
aisle width through the booth to each exit
|
 |
|
|
Electrical Wiring / Appliances:
-
Meet requirements of National Electrical Code/U.L. Listed
-
Properly sized for use
-
Protected from physical injury
-
13'6" above roadway
|
 |
|
|
Portable Generators (if used):
-
Located a minimum of 20' from the booth, along with fuel storage
-
Class I fuels limited to 2 gallons
-
Class II/III fuels limited to 5 gallons
|
 |
|
|
Fire Protection:
-
Minimum of one 2A10BC currently tagged fire extinguisher
|
 |
|
|
No Smoking:
-
Signs shall be securely attached and conspicuously posted on all four exterior sides
-
Smoking prohibited inside or within 50 feet of booth
|
 |
|
|
Parking:
-
All vehicles/trailers shall be parked a minimum of 10 feet from
the booth
-
Vehicles/trailers used for storage or fireworks shall be parked a minimum of 20 feet from booth
-
Exception: Delivering supplies/materials
|
 |
|
|
Display of Fireworks:
-
All fireworks must be on the approved list from an approved Wholesaler
-
All fireworks must be stored in an orderly manner
-
No sources of ignition in booth or on premises
|
 |
|
|
Records:
-
Available inventory on the premises shall be maintained and
available at AHJ's request
|
 |
|
|
Cooking Equipment (if used):
-
Located a minimum of 20 feet from booths
-
Located a minimum of 50 feet from booths if open-flame cooking equipment is used
|
